5/10: QQ against pressure on a scary board
Stats:
UTG just sat down. CO is 51/5/1.91 after 100 hands Absolute 5/10 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) Pre-flop: Hero is SB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] UTG raises, 1 fold, CO calls, 1 fold, Hero 3-bets, 1 fold, UTG calls. CO calls. Flop: (10 SB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players) Hero bets, 1 fold, CO raises, Hero calls. Turn: (7 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero checks, CO bets, Hero? When I'm behind here, I likely have 1, maybe 2 outs. When I'm ahead, my opponents likely has at least 9 outs, right? Am I ahead often enough to called down (getting about 9-2)? |

Re: QQ against pressure on a scary board
I'd just fold it here. If he was raising the flop for a free flush card, he just got it. I can't see putting 2 more bets into this pot being profitable in the long run, given that a fourth heart will come to beat you sometimes anyway. You may be drawing dead already. If not, you could be drawing to one out only. Good time to dump it.

Re: 5/10: QQ against pressure on a scary board
I think the turn would be a fold in this situation.
If instead you had the Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] , then I think you would have an easy call here. |

Re: 5/10: QQ against pressure on a scary board
I'm not sure on this one, however against this opponent I'm very tempted to see a showdown here, even with the board like it is.
But like I said not convinced either way. |
