Craig Biggio
Biggio played the game it was supposed to be played, he showed loyalty to an franchise that he produced for until he was 41 yrs old, and he stayed out the limelight.....
with so much "wrong" in baseball today, Biggio was a breath of fresh air from all the media that surrounds Bonds* and steroid speculation.... a true class act and damn good infielder that will be missed by all baseball fans...Thanks Craig - played his entire 20-season career in Houston - franchise's all-time leader in games, at-bats, hits, doubles and total bases. - 27th player to reach 3,000 hits

Grew up playing second base in Little League and Biggio was my favorite player until his last game today.
Been an absolute pleasure watching him play and I can't wait until I able to tell my kids one day that I saw a player like him play the game it was meant to be played. GO ASTROS!

But I still admire him, he deserves to be a first-ballot HOFer. Hats off to him for a fantastic career.
