Also, this is a blind battle and he might call off as weak as AT or QJ.

AT isnt exactly weak here at all. but i think villain doesnt have AT all too often... esp. from a tag (who may have tricky bones in his body, but for the sake of argument, doesnt here)

more likely its villain with like a 66, T8, etc.

uaually when ppl revert to this line of c/c it's because they have something that they feel is already good enough for showdown and they don't want to get blown off of it/ but do want to give BB a chance at bluffing; esp if BB is going to be tough to play against OOP. Honestly I could also see JJ here if SB is fearfull that BB is going to auto-raise this on the flop. This is a pretty inocuous board for 66-99 and T hands.

The flipside is that (since this isn't a spectacular player, keep in mind) this isn't a board that big pairs are going to get a ton of value from unless you can be pegged as a habitual floater. I wouldn't rule the possiblity out but also wouldn't neccessarily give it much credence edit: given that he checked river. Even w/o this I think we can lead closer to a check.

Anyway I can understand a hand like that calling flop/turn but I dont think those hands are calling a river bet. I could see AK here but hard pressed to see AQ save A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. I dunno though given description of villain.

I don't think you're getting looked up by anything worse than AT if even that. I think you got all the value you could out of worse on flop turn.

I dont like preflop

I vb river, its easy to say not many hands that we are beat are calling here, but so many players get curious and I can actually see alot of one pair hands wanting to call here. So bet and fold to a cr!

Can you explain how preflop is +EV? It may very well be, but I can't see why initially.
