Not really. Look at the avg PE ratio compared to the historical avg PE ratio we are right in line with what is historically avg.

This is extremely flawed thinking. You're not smoothing out earnings and, as a result, wrong like the majority of investors out there.

I saw an article in a magazine, recently, I forget which one, but it was entitled "Would the Real P/E Please Stand Up." It might touch on what you're talking about. I'll try to remember to read it.

Well their is a big difference between trailing PE and forward PE that is based on earnings estimates.
