[ QUOTE ]
Best part of the stop n go portion of the "book".
"Stop-and-gos are rare, and when they do arise, win very small amounts of equity because most of the time the result is identical to moving in preflop. The amount of discussion this play has generated online is way out of proportion to its value. If you are not already an advanced player, forget about stop-and-gos and concentrate on developing flawless basic skills. Once you have mastered the basics, it makes sense to add at least the risk-free stop-and-gos (such as the 22 example in the paragraph above) to your repertoire."

That sounds spot on.

Damn Stars went from no regs and stuff loading to no anybody and nothing loading.

Luckiest poker thing about suzzer: won 15-20 MTTs, never finished 2nd.

Unluckiest poker thing about suzzer: played over my head about 30 times, lost horribly 25 of them, broke even the other 5. Just saw a bunch of $225s with no one on them, been running good, said what the heck. Didn't make it past level 5 in my first 9 out of 12. Bubbled in the $315 after several shorties survived dominated hands on their allins. Fun.

I like to get that question out of the way during the job interview. Also a good time to find out their position on lie detectors in the workplace.

So I log onto Stars and get this message:

"Internal error (71/1021), please contact support blah blah"

I send an email saying WTF?
I get this back:

[ QUOTE ]
Hello Michael,

Thank you for emailing us.

Please refer to this email that was sent to you in regards to this matter:

************************************************** *************************
Please notice that if your birthday is on 12/05/89, this will mean you are
not yet 18 years old. Been this the legal age to play in our site, we have
frozen your account until 12/5/07.

Please email us back in 4 days so we can discuss re-opening your account.
************************************************** *************************

Should you need any further assistance, please do not hesitate to let us
know.

Regards,

Juan
PokerStars Support Team

Apparently, I've been playing underage on their site for over two years and they are waiting 4 days before my 18th B-day to let me know. BTW, I never recieved the above email, and I'm obviously WAAAY over 18 already.

So, I repeat: "WTF?"
