Default Black Jack betting system

Before I explain the system and ask my question I'd like to say that I'm aware that it's -EV. Me and my friends occasionally will have flips, go all in blind, and it's fun but a bit costly. I thought instead of flips it would be more fun and less expensive to play blackjack.
When I play I will bet 1unit, 3unit, then double it everytime after that so 1,3,6,12,24,48....

I think on an average session I would like to double my money or lose it then stop. How many betting units would I need to have a good chance at doubling my money? Do the betting units even affect it?

Definitely Bonus Martingale. Instead of merely winning 1 unit after every bet increase, it's winning two units.

1 to win 1, 3 to win 2, 6 to win 4,
....instead of boring ol' Martingale
1 to win 1, 2 to win 1, 4 to win 3

for the op - The Wizard of Odds can help you

Whether you play a martingale or the slight modification you propose, your probability of doubling up drops toward 0 as your initial balance increases. The number of times you win increases more significantly than the probability of winning each trial does. To maximize the probability of doubling up, start with relatively few units.
