Default Bank Account Goes Robusto

I hope I used everybody's favorite term "robusto" correctly in the thread subject, haha. Anyway....i was checking my online bank account a little while ago and I noticed that about 650 bucks was accidentally added. I dont care to go into the details of how this happened, but suffice it to say that the bank DID make a mistake and definately added 650 bucks to my account on accident. Thats my brag.....

Variance = I bet this only happens like 1 in 50 thousand times or else banks would be losing a lot of money...and the machines that manage bank accounts typically dont make errors, but once in a while they do

Beat = The bank is gonna get a bad beat in about 20 minutes when I go to an ATM and cashout 500 bucks

So....if this happened to you guys what would you do? Is my line correct here (i.e. going to an ATM now and cashing out 500 bucks)? Would anybody play it differently?

Sweet, I think I got the BBV thing down pretty well

How is that theft.....who's to say I didnt just go to an ATM and try and cash out 500 bucks without knowing the bank made an error? That is the banks fault......any lawyers out there? Would really be interested to get some feedback from you.

I'm pretty sure you'll be getting the bad beat when it get corrected and you're fighting with them over non sufficient charge penalties for the next month or two.

they will find out.. and you will have to repay them.. may as well just tell them and save the hassle and worry of WHEN they will find out..

Yeah, good call. If you are going to take advantage of a mistake in your favor, a bank is definitely the way to go. What recourse could they possibly have?
