Default Is casino on net trying to hustle me into playing more?

Here is the story.
Couple of days ago i deposited 200$ into 888.com with my credit card, got 200$ bonus. Read from the site that i had to play 20xbonus or 4000$ worth to cash out. The way i could check this was by the comp points on there site, 1 point for every 10$ wagered.

I basicly ran good and had 540$ when i reached 403 comp points. I then cashed out. Today i receive this email:

"Dear xxxx,

This is Zoe B. from the Operations Department at Cassava (Gibraltar) Ltd.
Cassava (Gibraltar) Ltd operates "Casino On Net".

I am contacting you in regards to your Casino On Net account with username "xxxx".

Your recent cashout request includes an amount of our bonus, and so we have
reviewed this cashout in accordance with our wagering criteria. Since the
bonus in question was issued, you have wagered correctly $3478.5.
Therefore in order to cashout the bonus you still need to wager (bet) a
further $521.5. Please log into your account and cancel this cashout to wager
the required remaining amount. Alternatively we will return the cashout to
the bankroll after the regular awaiting cashout period.

You can check the amount of wagering you have done by the amount of Bonus
Points that you have received. For every $10 you wager, you receive 1 point.
When you receive a bonus please check the number of total points you currently
have, and how much wagering is required. Please note that any cash out that
includes the bonus amount will be subject to the wagering criteria.

Should you require further clarification regarding our Bonus Policy, please
visit our website http://www.888.com and go to the "Players Club" section, where there
is a link to the Bonus Policy.

If you have any questions or require any other assistance, please contact us.

Regards,

Zoe B.
"

I wrote this reply:
"Hello

Are you sure you have checked it right? When I check the my comp points in
the cashier window it says that I have a total of 403.95 comp points
accumulated. According to what you say, and what is written in the software
that means that I have wagered a totalt of 403.95 * 10 = 4039.50$.
And more than what is required to cash out the bonus. Not $3478.5 as you
claim.
Hope this thing is sorted out.

Best reegards
xxxx
"

Am I missing something here? Who is right, me or they? Should I just do as they say or is this worth an argue? I mean, it stands black on white, Total Comp points accumulated: 403.95... Shouldnt that satisfye the wagering requirements?

Are you sure you didn't have any previous comp points? You are basically at their mercy here so the best thing to do is wager the additional money.

I am sure I started at 0 yes.. I know it would be a prety bad thing to argue with them and end up loosing the whole dibbly doo, but 888.com is a serious company and they wouldnt just doo that?

It is just that things like these pisses me off..

If you opened a new account and didn't have comp points did you play anything other than blackjack? The terms and conditions state that low-risk bets via roulette and craps do not count towards the requirement.

So if you played these games you may have accumulated comp points, but CON may not consider them valid towards the bonus clearing.

Could be just a bug. Could be a ploy to get you to wager more etc. Who knows.
