Default $3/$6 6max

ladbrokes $3/$6 (online) 6max table currently 5 handed I've been sat at the table for about an hour, villian in this hand started off weak tight but has recently just lost a huge pot and is down approx. 50BB in total, he appears to be tilting and is betting and raising more often than usual up untill he started gettin spazzy I was pushing him around alot betting him off hands and stealing pots from him Id recently been caught bluffing and the other players were starting to stand up to me more with marginal hands

everyone folds round to hero in the SB with A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] I raise and villian calls in the BB flop comes:

9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Hero bets
Villain raises
Hero re raises
villian caps
Hero calls

pot size: 12SB

turn comes: 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

hero checks
villian bets
hero raises
villian re raises
hero calls

Pot size 12 BB

River comes: 7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Hero checks
Villian checks

Your opinions please, dont hold back! I'll post the outcome later

I would call the flop raise. If he's bluffing, that's cool. Let him hang himself. Turn+ is fine.

my play with A9 in SB is fold 100%pre-flop

anyway, I think you are to agressive on the flop, bet/call is better, cus you dont have top pair, should cap the turn though,

that was so funny?? you are simply not getting it? you are allready loosing from the SB no matter what cus of the forced blind, that requires only better hands to be played in this position, if not, you will be loosing even more, believe me, I know what I m talking about,

As played in the flop, I think I prefer to bet-3bet the turn to avoid a freecard, and perhaps he is raising the turn with top pair.

A9off against any random hand has almost 61% equity so you should be playing it and raising it. Blind play is critical to success in sh poker.

and I thought I was a nit

OP, if you think he's tilting, I dont mind capping the turn, and bet/calling the river. Because if he has KK or AA, he's not going to put you on 9x
