why was showenweis even warming up in the 8th if you dont bring him in in that spot
why didnt they pinch run for alou in the 9th why do i hate willie so much regardless, awesome

They didnt pinch run for Alou because there wasnt really anyone left other than Newhan

[/ QUOTE ] One thing I don't blame Willie for at all is the terrible performance by the bullpen over the past month or six weeks (or however long it has been). There is no one who inspires the least bit of confidence. The only one who had a good year in the pen was Wagner, at least until relatively late in the season.
