How often is good player check raising this flop without AA/AK/KK? Seems like a pretty good C bet board if he has most anything else.

Does he ever talk himself into a hero fold with AA/AK here?

I know this is basically blasphemy, but if the answer to 1 is always and question 2 never, is shoving as good as we think it is?

Ya if UTG+1 cbets his range is a lot wider than his c/ring range.

If villain only checkraises a set or aces then his play is pretty readable and it is easy to get out of the way with a weaker made hand. I do think that a lot of pros are very readable with moves that can only be a real strong hand.

If he had cbet like 400, I don't think I would have liked a shove w/ 1k in the pot and hero having nearly 5k behind after calling.

I think I'd call and see what he does on the turn, very often betting if checked to on a brick rather than taking the free look at the river.

If we just call the c/r, is he ever double barreling without AA/KK/AK?

shove
He is out of line very often here, thinking you have an automatic bet with almost 100% of the hands you call the raise with. He also cant just call with hands like 99 so he will turn these into bluffs.
It will make up for the times he calls our shove and we are way behind.
