Best round of the year so far: 83 at my old "home course." Went 43/41. My irons, again, were ON, my driver, which had been excellent, was not. I felt like scoring low, though, so rather than work through it like I'd usually do, I played smart and hitting shorter clubs off the tee.

41-40-81 at my favorite course right down the road. 12 putts on the front, 17 on the back. Other than that my driver and irons let me down at times...

Shot a 67 on a local par 3 course last night at like 10PM...its odd playing under the lights but fun.

Brag: got my second hole in one yesterday, hit a PW from about 137ish.
Brag: shot my lowest 9 hole score in the same round yesterday...32 on a par 34. Beat: Now at work since 7:00 am at the same course. Variance: Im 1-1-1 in match play against my boss, last year i only beat him 1 time out about 25 matches so im off to a good start. Variance: 2 hole in ones and im only 20 and dont play often anymore because of school.

Shot 92 today from the tips at a local course here in Raleigh, Eagle Ridge (approx 6800 yards)...had a few 300+ yard drives but yet again the game inside 100 yards killed me...

38 (par 35). Had two doubles that were just stupid - both three putts from inside 12 feet. Left the first putt above the hole both times, gg me.

yea, i played with jupiterpig today and shot 96, but i did birdie the 18th in the pitch black dark, so all and all not to bad of a day.

[/ QUOTE ] This is an honest question, not a bash: if you're shooting 92, why the hell are you playing from the tips? I guess if you're hitting 300+ drives it gives you more of a distance challenge, but I just don't get people who insist (might not be you) on playing from the tips when they've never broke 90 in their life.
