I would check #1 for sure. Only hand you can rep is T9 and 33, assuming you 3-bet 99 and TT, so I can't imagine you have much fold equity. Classic free card raise is fine.

Hand 2 I think you can fire the turn against some villains. The turn completes the OESD and sets are more likely. He has to be able to make big laydowns though. So usually I check but player dependent.
