Default AT 3-bet gets donked on blank flop

Villain is a good tricky player. My stats on him were 29/20/2.5 with a good number of hands.

FT 1/2 SH

*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to Hero [Th As] on the button

UTG folds
HJ folds
Villain raises to $2
Hero raises to $3
SB folds
BB folds
Villain calls $1

*** FLOP *** [Qs 6d 2s]
Villian bets $1
Hero...?

Whats my line from this point on?

With this donk bet, I do not believe he has a Q but might have a low pair or flush draw.

*grunch*

Villain is probably on a FD. Any player has to expect a c-bet here, and I'm assuming a good player would check-raise with TP, especially with an AF this high. I think he's being tricky again.

Call and re-evaluate turn.

Against a good player, I'd usually fold AT preflop.

On the flop I'd call because of the Nut BDFD thats there.

I'd raise and take a free card on anything except a T or A which I'd value bet/fold on the turn and river. (I'd call a 3-bet and fold turn ui, and I might just call down his turn c/r on a T or A if I feel like it. If I take a free card and he bets I'm probably folding, but occasionally calling the occasional turn 3 river Q action or such if I'm untrusting.)

Preflop 3-bet is fine and standard btw.

I'd fold preflop against a good player. Following HPFAP advice and disregarding the top card on the flop I think you have a call getting 8.5-1. I hate these spots though and try avoiding them as much as possible, that's one of the reasons for folding preflop.

what exactly is ur 3betting range here? I dont get to use stats often or see too too many 30/20s, i think i end up adjusting my 3betting standards alrite but who knows.

are u 3betting 66+ or 77, QJs KTo? what suited aces what offsuit aces? Does it matter how "good" or tricky of a 30/20 it is?

how about if the raise comes from UTG?

66 yeah. Mainly hands with showdown value. So I don't do stuff like QJs (some do) or KTo. KQo I will, KJs I will, but I think those are the worst ones. A9o, A7s or A8s, all good.

Mainly don't sit there.

What does everyone think about calling the flop and then raising the turn, to check behind on the river UI?

I think this would give us the potential for the CO to fold a better hand, but also leaves us open to a 3-bet on the turn. If he is playing a flush draw and hits it on the turn, I would still have a redraw to the nut flush. I think the only cards this would be a bad play on would be a non spade K.
