The best thing to do is change position.
I have 3 different chairs - an Aeron, a "kneeling chair" and a swiss ball. Every half hour or so I swap out which one I'm sitting on. The other important thing to do is move your arms. Any time you don't need them on the mouse/keyboard, move them down to your sids, or above your head. Also you have to stand up at least once an hour. I posted this in OOT but whenever I get a new desk I'm getting a "sit to stand" desk so I can stand up for a while and keep working. |

To clarify, massaging will feel good and may alleviate short term problems, but does very little to prevent long term damage.
