I didn't know that was part of your rites. Would that be called a baptism by fire? I had ruled out Norse pagan and Hindu - they only get set on fire after they die. Thought maybe it was Buddhist - didn't Buddhist monks use self-immolation as a protest in various Asian countries? [ QUOTE ] ... but I was despondent.
