Re: Colt Brennan: 44/75 547 4/4
[ QUOTE ]
You can do projections for quarterbacks based on their games started and their completion percentage. [/ QUOTE ]David Lewin does not do this. Or, not exactly. How high scouts rank person is relevent. Just because you start a lot of games and complete high % of passes doesn't mean much if scouts think you suck. |

[ QUOTE ] but is he nfl material? [/ QUOTE ] Won't really know from his stats. See Ryan Leaf or Rick Mirer... b [/ QUOTE ] Ryan Leaf 56% completion rate his final year... hmmm maybe we should have known from his college stats. Tim Couch would be a better example of a huge bust with great college stats. |

[/ QUOTE ] Yeah, Tim Couch is a good example. 67.1% completion percentage, and he started nearly every game of his college career. It was obviously a good system (hello Mike Leach). Hawaii's system is obviously QB friendly, but given how much better Chang is than Brennan you have to wonder just how friendly it is. |

Wouldn't Brennan have been better served coming out last year, or not?

Re: Colt Brennan: 44/75 547 4/4
[ QUOTE ]
no Mike Hart anywhere? hm [/ QUOTE ] Makes sense. He isn't a great NFL prospect. Two knocks: his size and his top speed. I personally doubt his size will be much of a liability, but his top gear is. He does have great vision, never fumbles, and has a lot of power for a little guy, plus he has "intangibles", in that he is a hard-working dedicated mofo. So I dunno, 3rd/4th/5th round? |
