Default Rovolution Article

Esquire article by one of my favorite writers, Chuck Klosterman:

Revolution Article

Discuss.

His thesis is that revolution is impossible in this country. I think this is the question to be discussed. Whether or not revolution is necessary is a different (also important) question for a different thread.

My own take: He focuses on violent revolution, which significantly limits his conclusions. Then again, I'm not sure what a nonviolent revolution would look like. I also think he underestimates the rapidly improving communications technology, which would allow people to 'gather' no matter where they are physically located. Just my .02

This article is terrible. He proves nothing. Maybe he's right by accident, but this essay sheds zero light on how revolutions work, or how america works.
