E-books

Assuming, of course, you can install Adobe E-Book reader, or whatever they call it.

Also, you can burn movies & TV shows (only those acquired legally, obv) to CD, and watch them on your system.

OMG I love the E-book idea. I can put on my serious face and make it look like I'm reading something important.

a) attempt to become a world-class dice stacker (or cup stacker if that's your cup of tea)

b) use a proxy to circumvent their block of 2+2 and play turbos with us every day

Resist and fight for freedom:
Try to find out how to get around this. Is it a business complex with other companies, are there any open wlans?
How is the blocking done technically?
You could for example set up an openvpn-server at home, install openvpn on the company machine and use one of the likely unblocked ports for the openvpn client then set the P2P device of the tun interface as your default gateway (should work, don't ask me how to do it on windows though)

Accept, welcome to the corporate world:
Since I have a policy of not working for companies that restrict network access for their employees I really don't know how to do this :P
If you're interested in economics I find this page to be quite a timewaster, as antidan suggested wikipedia (random article) is not bad either. You could try learning programming in your free time as well, then only your imagination sets limits o what you can do
