Default NL25 - Inducing squeeze with top set?

How do you like smooth calling the flop here hoping BTN goes all-in?

Poker Stars - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.10/$0.25 Blinds - 7 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)

SB: $16.95
BB: $30.60
Hero (UTG): $25.80
UTG+1: $46.60
MP: $14.55
CO: $16.40
BTN: $4.10

Preflop: Hero is dealt K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (7 Players)
Hero raises to $1.00, 3 folds, BTN calls $1.00, SB folds, BB calls $0.75

Flop: ($3.10) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 Players)
BB bets $1.25, Hero calls $1.25

LoL, inducing a squeeze?
And why do you think button would do that?

Ok maybe I've got the terminology all wrong, but besides that, my thinking was that considering BTN only has $3.10 remaining, and, seeing BB's weak bet followed by my equally weak call he'll shove having hit any piece of that flop.

Why focus on getting BTN's money, BB has a $30 stack, lets work on getting his money...

I just raise this flop, if BTN is coming along hes sticking his money in regardless of what we do...

BB is sticking it in with any piece here regardless.

Be very careful doing this. If the BB had bet 1.75 instead of 1.25 and you call and button shoves allin, there will be no option to reraise as the allin would be less than a full reraise, and the BB can call without worrying about you raising behind him.

why would you want to shove over button anyways? you're just going to push the big stack out of the hand...

Just make a normal raise, button will call with any Q any K, and hopefully with enough in the pot BB will call as well.

weak bet by bb, cold call by you, shove by button, call by bb, over raise by you = huge hand. you're just going to let him play "perfectly" and fold whatever AKAQ hand he might have.

My point was that you need to be careful of the odds you are offering the BB after the button calls your raise.

If the buttons allin call is almost certain, your raise really needs to be larger than normal to cut down on the odds that you will be offering the BB to call your raise.
