Re: Prop bet: 5.2 mile run
[ QUOTE ]
maybe he can run an 8 or 9 minute single mile. when he's on mile number 4 and 5, its gonna be about 14-15 minutes [/ QUOTE ] I think you're underestimating how slow 14-15 minutes per mile is. This is a comfortable WALK. Unless he has a heart attack of shreds a hamstring, he should be able to do this easily. |

[/ QUOTE ] I am assuming he is sedentary other than his 1/2 hour of frat curls 3x a week. If he does a little running each week or some other form of cardio you'd be screwed. BTW I could get up and run 1 mile is <8 minutes now. No chance of running the next mile in <10 though. He'll hit "the wall" very quickly if he doesn't run at all. |

Re: Prop bet: 5.2 mile run

[censored], I bet I could walk 5 miles in an hour [/ QUOTE ] Somebody should take you up on this bet. You're most likely horribly wrong here. The only way the OP's bet could be close if "in pretty good shape" just means "not fat." If the guy does any kind of vaguely cardiovascular exercise ever then this shouldn't be too bad. |

OP, are you taking any more prop bets? i'll give you even money for 1k bets on any of these: - i can breathe 60 times in 3 minutes - i can watch braveheart in under 5 hours - i can float in a swimming pool for 20 seconds |
