WORLD WAR 3

Was talking with some friends last night about if/ when the next big war came out how it would change the world. I personally think our society has advanced too far and is too civilized to come to it again. All "the world gets nuked" stuff aside (pretend theres no nukes/ u.s. ships all have laser beams to shoot them down throughout the world), what is the most likely total war to come up?

This is wishful thinking. And US v. China is by far the most likely world war III candidate.

US v China? Doubtful. I think a US v Russia war is more likely, but neither strike me as probable anymore.

Definitely not out of the realm of possibility, imo.

Consider that one of China's stated foreign policy objectives is to take back Taiwan...

US vs. Canada will happen in the year 2014 after the world's largest deposit of oil and natural gas is discovered 350 miles east of Alaska.

Footnote: Canadian 'allies' Iran, Venezuela, Cuba, Switzerland and North Korea are also destroyed. Gildwulf narrowly escapes death and becomes a leader in the Canadian resistance. He is eventually captured, sent to Gitmo and never heard from again.
