standard would be 4betting preflop and leading the flop. cold calling pf there isn't a very good idea oop with kk.

Yes I should have reraised PF but tbh I didn't expect so many callers. On the flop its fine to flat call the reraise since I have the nuts here. Should I be worried about any straight/flush draws?

The button wouldn't reraise a draw that strong right? In all honesty I didn't expect an all-in from UTG.

I always tend to reraise PF at $50NL with AA/KK and sometimes QQ/JJ

grunch

You don't want to take a flop multiway here and that might happen if you just call preflop. I make a pot sized re-raise there. Flat calling a 3bet preflop with KK is only an option heads up IMO.

I ususally don't CR 4-way, because I don't expect anyone to cbet into 3 opponents with a holding they wouldn't have called/raised a lead from hero with anyway. I certainly do not go for a CR when the board is so very drawy like it is here. You should lead this flop for sure. Imagine if Button has JJ, and decides to slow-play too, and the flop checks around. Imagine what a turn card like the 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] could do to your expected value in the hand!! This might result in you not stacking him after all! Also, a CR is more scary than a lead, so if button has something slightly marginal, you do not want him to get off it. Anything but a lead on this flop is very bad in my opinion.

Again, after button raises, do not flat call. Just stick it in. Buttons line is very strong, and clearly he has represented JJ/AK/AA (most likely AA IMO), and surely he is not folding any of these holdings. However, a diamond on th e turn would be very ugly for you. Also, he could have somehting like A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] or even A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], and you would like to get it in right now. I think your flop call is pretty bad. Shove over his raise.

Summary: You played this way too passively. Almost always play your monster hands fast, especially on boards that could get ugly when more cards come off.

Fiksdal, thanks for your comprehensive reply. I understand what your saying and agree. I thought my hand was stronger than it actually was.

I played it badly but managed to get all my chips in. In summary, according to general consensus, I should have reraised PF and lead out on the flop as well, exactly the opposite of what I did.

Anyway for those who are interested, UTG held Kd8d (dunno how he called 2 all-ins) and Button had JJ. Thanks all for listening

UTG had insane odds to call with that holding.
