That honor goes to Lethal Weapon, before Mel Gibson got too much of the Jesus in him.

It wasn't just too much of the Jesus in him. It was also too much of the Captain in him.

I'm surprised it's getting good reviews. The trailer I saw looked awfully cheesy. Please report back if it's good.

Yeah, I'm hesitant b/c of that trailer too. I'll probably see it anyway though.

I thought the trailer looked cheesy as well but thought the movie was mad good and fun. I think like everyone in the audience liked it as there was lots of laughter and stuff. Some things are somewhat incredibly cheesy/dumb, but most of those moments end up being really hilarious.

There were a few scenes where I was saying 'wtf' and laughing, but it was a pretty good action movie...I really enjoyed it. The theater was pretty packed and the audience seemed to really enjoy it as well

If you liked the other Die Hard movies, you'll like this one.

The new one was almost an intentional satire of it's previous ones with some way over the top scenese. I enjoyed it. The 1st Die Hard is easily the best, but this one was fun.

Lots of fun. The computer stuff wasn't too silly for a movie, the action stuff was fun, and the villain was suitably eveal. Definately worth a watch.

Just saw it. very good. If you liked previous Die Hard I can't see you not enjoying this one. The things I thought wouldn't work...the mac guy/the whole cyber thing worked perfectly.
Its the perfect cheesy summer action flick.

It is also an example of why Michael Bay sucks so bad...Wiseman's direction is simple and direct and highlights the action, it doesn't pull you out of a scene and take away from the action.
