Default 1/2 hand against donkey player

hi im new here and am posting this hand because i am unsure if it was a good play

the game is 1/2 no limit on pokerstars. everyone folds to me and i am 2 away from the button and raise it up to 6 with J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. then opponent on my left reraises it up to 26. the oppenent in the hand is jmoney10587. my pokertracker has his stats at 18.4/14.6/4.3 after about 500 hands. he likes to raise people a lot and makes a lot of donkey plays and seems to be very lucky, overall i think he is very bad

i call jmoney's raise and the flop is A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. i check, jmoney bets 40 and then i go allin.

i was wondering if this was a bad play because jmoney made another donkey call with pocket queens and won the hand. should i have just bet the flop myself and made him fold?

Fold preflop.

You will be OOP in a HU pot if you call, and you only have $6 invested in the pot at this point. I think this is an easy fold preflop.

insta-fold to the raise preflop. He is not raising with anything you are ahead of here. You have JT. If you think he is that bad, wait for better cards to take his money. As far as the rest of the hand goes, it is okay sometimes to try to push SKILLED players off KK/QQ when an ace flops when you have a read, but if you KNEW he was a donkey, you should never try this play, because donkeys always call, remember?

I would fold TJs to a re-raise here. His stats don't suggest he is too much of a donkey, just very aggressive. If you call here, you need to be doing it in order to make a big flop move vs. his possible steal, as you will hit a hand that puts you ahead of his 3betting range very rarely (2 pair or massive draw).

Isn't jmoney GrandMelon? If so, I dont believe he is a donkey. Stats indicate he is very aggressive so it is likely he has a very wide PF 3betting range, however, JTs is still not strong enough to consider calling such a large reraise.

As played, this is a terrible way to try and get him off KK/QQ as he already has 66$ invested and it is unlikely he will fold to a push unless you guys are very deep.

Next time post stack sizes and dont post results. Also, be careful who you are labeling donks because based on the stats you provided I believe its more likely you were against a decent LAG than a donk.
