Villain is a regular TAG, I've been raising a lot of hands preflop, but haven't been getting too out of line.

I think I played this hand atrociously and obviously got very lucky to win it. How would you play it?

Err, I play it the same except maybe slightly bigger bets; your preflop call was fine considering effective stacks were 178 BB.

I think given the only $42 bet on the turn, you could have folded to his push. It seems like he almost always has Ak here, the only other hand I could put him on (assuming he is not tilting) is JJ.
Then again, with $42 I think you were trying to induce a raise, so you ended up trapping yourself. You picked a bad spot to make a play like that considering AK just made the nuts.
I think people (myself included) often make [censored] THIS I'm getting it in and if I lose I lose type plays such as this when a really strong hand gets beaten. Obv. folding top set is not something you should do very often, but I think you could have here.

If you bet $60 or more you could have been very confident you are beaten when he raises.

That was basically my line of thinking, but when you're sitting there with top set and the only hand beating you is exactly AK....and even then you have outs.

MAYBE he's going nuts with AA KK JJ but I really think villain shows AK 70% of the time, I really don't know. I think I'm just too much of a station to lay it down.
