Default Party Poker blocks Inter-Account Transfers?

I have an unverified account on Party Poker that I funded with a transfer from someone else. I played on the account for quite some time and have made numerous transfers. Today I logged in and attempted to make a transfer (after someone already sent me money on another site) and I received a message that interaccount transfers are only permitted with preferred player accounts.

Anyone else find this to be the case or is this specific to me?

Obv. The point of the post was to determine whether this was specific to me or a site policy change.

No this is a new initiative they're doing. It's to further lock down on money laundering. I had to do it too at the weekend after playing there since January.

I understand that this applies to everyone.

I know of at least a handful of players (ie, everyone I know who has tried to transfer without being a "verified player") who have had this problem.

Oh great! I was going to fund an account on PokerStars by giving a local player some money and he was going to transfer that same amount to me online.

This sucks!

PokerStars != PartyPoker.
