The show is too blunt to fake us out like that. Just like "Well officer, whoever pushed Mr.Sulu off the ledge either walked away or flew away." It's pretty ham-fisted.

He might have kept it secret, and she might have meant Peter was equal, but you're probably right. OTOH, the invisible guy did say about Peter "oh, you're one of those," implying he'd met someone with the absorbing power before.

Is Kensai the lightning girl's father? Or is it the bald loser dude? When the hell is she gonna come back is probably the most important question.
