Default Dealing badugi-other triple draw games.

Some of you guys who play often---when the players fold
the dealer has two sep. piles for discards and folded cards right?
The folded cards go under the dealers hand.
Where do the player discards go?
Also if a discard shuffle is needed when is it done? The beginning of the round or once the cards run out (midhand)?

I've asked a couple dealers in the Tunica area but most of them are just your regular holdem specialists.
I haven't seen the 2-7 game at the horseshoe spread in the last yr or so.
Thanks
M.

Actually there are three groups. The dealer burns before dealing each draw, and these burns are kept to the left of the pot, and are protected by one or more chips. The burns are important in that they help keep track of how many draws have taken place.

When the players discard, the discards are usually kept half way between the players and the pot, and are kept there until the draw is complete. This way the dealer knows how many cards each player is drawing, and if a re-shuffle is required, the discards from the current round won't be included in the new deck. After the draw is completed, the discards are gathered and are placed with any discards from previous rounds in a pile called the "muck." (After the dealer deals to each player, she may move the discards in a little closer, but will keep them separate from the muck until the deal is complete.)

Typically, the dealer will fill players hands until doing so will leave less than two cards left in the stub. So if there are four cards left in the stub, and a player is drawing two, he will fill that player's hand and re-shuffle. If the player is drawing three, the dealer will re-shuffle before he gives the player any. (i.e. There is no partial fill of a player's hand, re-shuffle, then completion of the fill.)

Practice varies from room to room. The amount of cards left before a dealer re-shuffles might be 1, 2 or 3, for example.
