a graphic designer friend of mine, knowing my affinity for the late Eugene V. Debs, put together this shirt for me. so very cool.

the fun part, for those of you who don't know, is that Debs was the Socialist Party candidate for several elections, one of them being 1908. he got 6% of the vote in 1912.

Hi Lounge -

I'm trying to select my 5 DVD picks for the DVD club. While I have several picks that I am satisfied with I am still searching for a couple possible alternatives. Your thoughts on the following -

- first, I like films about historic figures. I'm looking for artistic period pieces like Elizabeth . Any recommendations?

- Second, I like edgy foreign films that pack a wallop and make you think but also contain some good sexy scenes too Possible recommendations?

- Third, I was thinking about putting down Thank You For Not Smoking and maybe Being There but not sure if everyone has seen these already. Also, Thank You for Not Smoking got very mixed reviews on Rottentomatoes. Any thoughts on this one?

Your feedback is appreciated

Hey

I now have the ability for creating private tournaments on pokerstars.

Anyone fancy one this Friday, say 8pm EST? I was going to extend the invite to POG and BBV4Life to get the numbers up.

I found these very cool Gerbera daisies at the store and just had to have them!

I am getting pretty tired of all of this snow and cannot wait for it to green up around here.

I had a strange start to March.

I was all set to begin a lengthy multi-defendant trial this week. Then we suddenly got notice from the prosecution that their star-witness just checked himself into a psychiatric hospital. Now the trial has been put off a few months.

Perhaps this post belongs in BBV?
