Dog Food

Later this year we will be going to Asia. One of my American friends there said that he will treat me to some delicacies based on dog meat. Has anyone here ever tried eating dog meat? What kind of meat is it comparable to? Does it taste like beef or lamb? I've never heard anyone say it tastes like chicken. Are there health issues associated with eating dog meat? All opinions would be appreciated. Here are some pictures from google...

Seems like the skin is served too as you can see in the first picture. Skin with fat.

Agreed, that was horrible, Not safe for anyone who likes dogs.
