For posessing images it doesn't matter the age difference, the images are illegal if the person is under 18. He didn't tell anyone about it but kept taking vacation days (which everyone soon learned wss for court appearances). Then he didn't show up for work for a while. He never got arrested for it, but a friend of mine once took a piss in the middle of my street in the middle of the day. We had just come back from partying a couple hours away and he was still totally drunk. Neighbor lady (who thankfully I always hated) was standing right at the end of her driveway across the street on a cordless phone calling in our license plate numbers as I'm asking my friend what the hell he's doing.
We took off to get some food, when we came back another neighbor tells us the cops were here. The next two days the cops came to my house to question me. He never got a ticket or anything, but it could've been pretty serious, as public urination results in sex offender status here.

Completely off topic here, but I grew up in California where the age of sexual consent is 18. I knew there was some states that had lower ages, but I thought 18 was pretty much the norm. I just looked it up and am amazed by how many states have 16 as the age of sexual consent. Seems a little young to me. But, maybe just cuz I grew up with it at 18.

Well he wasnt't a friend or anything, but when I was 14 or so, I worked as a dishwasher in a local retaurant. A cook that worked there, a really quiet, loner type, kidnapped a lady and cut her feet off. It was really freaky that the "weird guy", really was the "weird guy".

my friend was arrested for challenging a police officer to a game of goldeneye. The cop was being a dick and my friend said "You're pretty tough with your gun. I bet i could own you at Goldeneye". The cop was not amused and asked him if he wanted to be a tough guy because the cop would put him on the ground in a second. My friend said "Slappers only" and slapped the cop across the face.
In my friend's defense, the cop and his partner were being incredible [censored] and had just given him a ticket for drinking in public when he was drinking a bottle of water. They slapped it out of his hand when he offered it to them to prove it wasnt vodka. He was really drunk and they were being unproffessional douche bags. Because of the way they handled the situation so poorly, he ended up with only a ticket for public intoxication despite being arrested for assaulting a police officer. Hold on im going to try and find a link to the news paper article. AH the web links are gone but i still have a scanned copy of one.

Jesus, a year ago, my bball coach from elementary school (at the time he was caught, he was still teaching at the same school) was arrested for child porn. The porn was apparently of little kids and he said it's not hurting anyone because they were all from Russia [img]/images/graemlins/crazy.gif[/img]
Just recently, a 35 year old guy who used to coach my high school bball was arrested for child porn. At the time of arrest, he was promoted to athletic director at a rival highschool just blocks away from my old high school. It's weird because he was a really, really cool guy and EVERYONE liked him. There weren't any details on how old the people were in the porn pics though but either way, it's still weird.
