What's your record? If its good, I'd just take a dive. You're selling high on Favre and Lamont (arguably, but he is injured) and should be able to get more than Brees who is at the lowest point he'll be all season, and Sammy Morris, who will get 10 carries a game for most the season. If you aren't 0-4 or something I'd just suck it up and take the loss

Seeing as I have both Brady and Moss my record is pretty good, hehe. Took a loss last week when I took a gamble on Westbrook and basically nobody but Favre and Moss produced for me, but undefeated otherwise. The thing is, I'm pretty stacked at RB (Barber, Westbrook, A. Peterson, LaMont J.) so I'm not sure how much dropping LaMont is going to hurt me; he will be rarely used anyway. Same goes for Favre.

However, under other circumstances, I could probably get a much better deal. And heck, I might even win against my opponent this week with only one RB, he's got a pretty [censored] team, so I'm a bit unsure about the whole thing...

EDIT: Another factor is that I think that Favre and LaMont have reached their peak points this season, and that their production will decline in the future. LaMont will soon have to share carries with Rhodes, and Favre, well, I just can't see how can keep it up!

Lol, my DST (Chiefs) and other WR's (Welker, Bowe, Marshall, McDonald) are kind of questionable though.

You should be playing matchups with DST, so that's irrelevant. Depending on how many WRs you start, you've got a decent WR corps.

Your league doesn't have any FA, and the waiver wire always lasts a couple days regardless of how late in the week it is? That's pretty dumb. If your opponent sucks, cross your fingers and go with what you got. Brady/Moss might be able to beat him alone.

Never mind. I really am retarded.

I had completely misunderstood the FA/Waiver process and it turns out I was able to pick up Earnest Graham who might struggle against Indy, but it's at least better than giving up too much value in a bad trade or start without a RB.

Yeah, I'm a noob to this fantasy football thing...

I like my team but I'm not sure if I like my QB situation. 10 team league, no PPR. Start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 WR/RB, 1 TE, 1 D/ST, 1 K.

Jay Cutler
Philip Rivers

Brian Westbrook
Reggie Bush
Brandon Jacobs
Kevin Jones
Adrian Peterson (MIN)

Andre Johnson
Torry Holt
Larry Fitzgerald
Greg Jennings
Dwayne Bowe
Wes Welker

Jason Witten
Greg Olsen

Patriots D/ST
Matt Stover

Would you sit tight or try to trade for a better QB? If you were to trade for a QB, what kind of offer would you make based on my players?

There is a team that has Roethlisberger/Hasselback and another with Kitna/Brady...I was thinking about targeting one of those teams. Another has Favre/Garrard and a very weak set of RBs/WRs, I think I could get Favre from him.

8 team league. 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 flex.

I have
Willie Parker
Portis
Travis Henry
Adrian Peterson (the good one)
LenDale White

Roy Williams
Santonio Holmes
Dwayne Bowe
Calvin Johnson
Wes Welker

I know I'm probably going to drop Henry eventually. But if the suspension takes a month or two to pan out, I don't want to lose his productivity (he's the 9th highest scoring RB in the league, right now).

Selvin Young is available and I want to pick him up before someone else reads the news. But who to drop?

The natural choices appear to be Travis Henry or Wes Welker, right?

I would drop White or Welker, personally. Definitely don't drop Henry until it's 100% he's done for the season.

I just noticed Heap is on FA. Problem is, we only carry 4 bench and start 2QB/2RB/3WR. I have Curry in limbo as I try to claim Maroney from waivers. I have 2 solid backup running backs who I have no intention of dropping. My only other choice is Damon Huard, who I picked up because both my QBs are on bye Week 6, and I wanted to ensure I had at least one QB with a decent matchup for that week. My only TE is Cooley, who's production has been limited to red-zone TDs and 2 catches a game.

So, drop Huard for Heap?

Edit: Yes, I know Heap is injured otherwise I'd drop Cooley instead.
