My first thought was that it may have been some Beatles song like Michelle when I was maybe 9 or so. But I think the first song I really, really liked, that had a special something about it, because I felt as if I'd discovered it myself since my older siblings weren't already listening to it, was the Doors' Runnin' Blue:
