recommended books for bonus
I am stuck on what books to get from the 2+2 offer ( http://www.twoplustwo.com/bonus/ ), and am hoping that I can get some reccomendations
I am a small stakes no limit holdem player, and hopefully I can move up once I build up my bankroll. I have read these which I borrowed from a friend: Harrington on Hold'em vol I, II, III - this was an amazing books Holdem poker for advanced players - I did not find this book much relevance to me, mainly because it mainly went into limit Also plan to borrow: No limit hold'em thoery and practice The theory of Poker Are there any other books on that list in column A that are worth a read, if not then I probably will get HOH so I can re-read them. Also can anyone recommend three books from column B. Thanks in advance -mn1000 |

Re: recommended books for bonus
I've yet to read mathematics of poker, but judging by the reviews on amazon.com, it seems you'll need a relatively good maths background to understand some of the stuff in there.

Also I read a review that Inside the poker mind goes into limit holdem, will it help no limit holdem players? [/ QUOTE ] Any book could be applied to anything if there was a creative enough reader. That being said, I do not recommend it. |

Re: recommended books for bonus
There are several good books available through that offer. Theory of Poker would be a good one to own as opposed to borrowing. I consider The Psychology of Poker required reading for a player of any poker game or limit. I have not yet read Professional No-Limit Hold'em but am looking forward to it and have the utmost confidence that it will be outstanding. As previously mentioned, Poker Essays I, II, & III are worth reading. I also enjoyed Poker, Gaming, & Life.
