Default QQ with one overcard on board.

Did I play this bad or should i have folded or what? Villain was 24.5/17.4/5.3, and other than that, he hadn't shown down any terrible hands in about 100 hands.

I play it the same. People do stupid stuff, youre good here more than you think. With a good read you could fold the river.

I play it the same also and against far less aggro villains than we have here.

i dont think theres any read u can fold the river here nina, if villains raising the flop with QQ-99 or non Kx hands he should vb the made hands and if hes got a draw/air he ll 3 barrel enough where those 2 possibilities make folding a no go. If ur read is he wont raise the flop with anything but a K u can fold there, if u think its Ks and draws and he ll bet the turn but never the river well I guess thats a super specific read and the answer is obvious

Id say i often play it the same and with the right read/ recent metagame sometimes cring the turn is hot, dont leave that option out

also if villain just calls flop bet calldown a blank turn and this turn

also fwiw the calldown only becomes easier when the middle car is higher than an 8 ie K9x KTx with a fd ect as it adds a lot of gutter hands to his possible range

Yeah im not really sure you can fold when the K pairs actually. Im thinking more about the times it comes 2 low cards or something. Good point about the middle card being higher than a 8.

If the K doesnt pair, its a lot tougher decision..when it does you almost have to call down without a pretty solid read.
