Not sure if this is common knowledge or not but there is a lost special on tonight.

[/ QUOTE ]

Is it some sort of lame clip show or is it worth watching?

Hosted by “Lost” executive producers Damon Lindelof (also a co-creator of the show) and Carlton Cuse, the special will revisit mysteries that have been solved, including why a polar bear is on an island in the South Pacific, who the real father of Sun’s baby is, what caused the crash of Oceanic flight 815, who was in the hatch, what happened to the Dharma group, how Locke ended up in a wheelchair, what Kate did to become one of America’s most wanted, and the identity of the real Sawyer -- who conned James Ford’s parents – leading to their deaths. In addition, mysteries that remain unsolved will also be explored.

Ben is on an episode of Law and Order on USA right now...he's smiling at his kids, weird to see him playing a different character.

(p.s. - ty for the description of tonight's special.)

I just saw the special. It's garbage. It confirms one or two small pieces of information but is otherwise a waste of time.

I think that the special was supposed to be just for people who are mostly new to the show who do not know/understand some of the intricate things that are happening with it right now. Honestly if you were someone that just started watching, I can see how it would be hard to figure out what's going on.

Apologies if this has been posted, haven't been in the Lost threads for a minute.

I'm sure most of you have seen the recent SNL digital short "Dear Sister." spoofing the OC. Very funny IMO.

Well someone did a takeoff on this with Lost. Hilarious.

Well, I for one really liked the special. I thought that it was a good writeup of who everyone is and how they are intertwined. I also liked how they tied up some things that we thought were true but wasn't really for sure. For instance, we found out that the plane crash was indeed caused by when Desmond left the hatch that day got back late to push the buttons. Yeah, we were told by Desmond that he thought that that was the reason, but at least I got confirmation that that was really the case. There were many more events that were explained at some point of the season but I wasn't convinced that there wasn't something else that went on.

Anyways.. I enjoyed it, even though I missed a little bit of it flipping between it and all of the sporting events I've been watching tonight.
