Hey ... I really hope that I'm not too late for this ...
In February I dropped out of high school to play full time.

You don't need staking, you need to get back in school right away. You are going to look back at the day you dropped out of school and regret it for the rest of your minimum wage earning life.

I don't NEED staking. I want coaching. Would you tell Lebron James to go back to school?

Looking for a MTT bankroll! Mostly on PokerStars 50+ freezeouts and 30+ rebuys and of course the sunday tournaments.

I've been playing on the online internet for over 2 years and I've been a successful winner at NL $25 for well over a year. Here's a few graphs.

In addition, I was able to satellite into the Sunday Million back in June and placed 319/7060. Unfortunately, I took a few shots at NL $50, didn't work out, and needed to cash out the rest of my money. I briefly played on another site, but cashed out there as well after turning $25 into $125 within the span of a week.

The thing is, I know I can beat the games on this site. Someone I know who was a struggling microstakes player on Stars has worked his way up to $400 NL on this site. I'm capable of doing the same thing, I'm just under bankrolled at the moment. I'm looking to start at $50 NL and work my way up.

i would love to be staked for some 1/2 or 2/4 nlhe...i have played almost eleventy billion hands as a part timer online/indian casino. im not quite a winner at 2/4 but i break even most of the time so i generally play 50c/$1 6handed. i am ahead alot then move up when i get about $500 to play 1/2 and i slowly dwindle down till i end up scared playing 50/1 again. so yea with a little guidence i think i would be alot better.

why would u want to stake a winning player, wouldn't they already have a ton of money to play with. this thread is confusing. unless u think someone who beats low stakes is suddenly ready for med stakes i don't get this.

Yeah.. I can understand staking for big MTTs. The fields are incredibly soft, most decent players are +EV, but the variance is insane. Therefore, staking a large number of players results in reduction in variance for both parties.

In cash games I kinda think this is a really bad idea. The games are much harder, and NL cash is about as low variance as poker gets (even tho it can still be pretty sick sometimes). The vast majority of the players who need a stake would have to have a serious flaw as a player, be it poor play, poor tilt control or poor bankroll management. I'd imagine an actual solid, winning player who doesn't have a roll for whatever legit reason is very rare, and of those many would rather rebuild than accept a stake - I know I would.

But jfish and Pasterbator are pretty smart guys, maybe they're thinking about this a little differently. GL to all involved.

I agree and would like to hear their thoughts on this.

I'd be interested in staking 1 or 2 people for MTTs. Would have to be a pretty active poster, and be beating at least 1/2NL for a good clip. PM me if you meet these requirements.
