Default Is this a tough decision: Top-2 vs. big raise...1/2 NL

We got all our money in on the turn, but in describing the hand to a friend, I described my turn decision as "very close." He thought I was crazy and said it was the easiest push in the history of the world. Insert your opinion here. Anyone play the hand differently?

1/2 NL HE online. I have $440, both opponents this hand have ~200. I have been playing very aggressively, but have shown down only monsters (top set and nut straight).

This hand, I am SB with A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. An MP player open-limps. I complete and the BB checks. The BB has been playing tight.

The flop comes AT5r, with one spade. I check, BB bets $5, MP folds. I check-raise to $15 and BB calls. The turn is a 9, completing the rainbow. I lead out for $30 and the BB raises to $100, leaving himself only $85 behind.

I consider this a tough decision...but push.

I think you'll see something like A9, T9, even T5 a lot more than 55 here. Fairly easy push IMO.

I would think if you called on the turn then the other guy would probably put his last $85 in on the river anyway, so might as well push now?

...And you win the prize. I pushed and he called with T5. I guess I was worried by his big turn-raise after I've shown strong aggression with the flop CR and pot-sized turn bet. Moral of story? Worry less...push more.

I let myself go broke with top 2, no st8 or flush possible.
Unless I had a strong read.

Since he is BB, I see many weaker two pairs being possible here. Why did you check the flop?
