Default JJ from early position

this is the most awkward spot in tournament poker imo. tournament is 4.5k guarantee, 24+2
this is my second hand at a new table

Oh, didn't see that, my bad. Base on his flat call here, I think he is most likely holding a pp smaller than yours. He is probably re raising with AK here. The only hand I would be afraid of is KQ, but given all the other types of hands he could be playing that totally missed this flop, i say pushing would be the way to go.

Check/shove. Let him bluff you with his drawing hands and come over the top. If you just open shove, you're only called by Tx , Kx and AA. Maybe some combo draws come along as well.

At least with a check/shove, you can induce a fold if he fires a bluff with air to you.
