46? I don't get that math, I have to match those 23 extra. That is not dead money

[/ QUOTE ]
But you have to put the $23 in too. So your equity has to be > 23:96

If the call would put you all in that would be true. Assuming he's never on a bluff and he'll call a push with all hands he's raising for value we need 41% eq vs his range.

Ok. Guess it is a pretty standard push and flip for stacks scenario then.

I think this is better ip. And there's 11 cards we don't want to see on the turn, putting us into guessing mode.

exactly, if we beat him he is not going to go nuts when a nasty turn hits. we can easily fold if a scare hits and he comes out firing. if a blank hits our equity improves alot against his range.

i think pushing the flop is ok too, but with the read that he just calls down with 2pairs, calling is better here

In some way I don't understand you turned my arguments against me

This is not true because his range consists of none strong draws at all. Also villain seems to weird for me to want to get into a guessing game on the turn. Being oop on the turn sucks.

i agree there are no draws really, so that last point didn't really apply here. what i mean in the first instance is if you call the flop, and a king, jack or ten roll off and he fires out strong he is not gonna really do it with a hand we beat so we can safely fold. given the read he probably has a pretty good hand and will be unlikely to turn one into a bluff
