25th after JJ < 75o (HighNetWorth)

Then, I shove 45k in my SB into Vanessa's BB who has 90k. She should be folding everything except like AA KK there. She obv was in if she kept folding, but if she loses she is back in the mix. Instead she snap-calls with AQ which is horrible even if I show her my 85o, but she wins.

bakes said the same thing and i still vehemently disagree.

i wasn't able to fold to win the tourney at this point. i was 7/26 and only 18 get seats and it was soooo tight and moving sooooo slow. there was no way you could argue i was guaranteed a seat.

i knew that if i win this one, i WOULD be able to fold in, and if i lose well i still have a pretty good chance and some decent fold equity for sure. but i had a few shorties on my left so i COULDN'T be the one shoving random garbage.

i would have folded if i had say 105k at this point where i'm not in a position to care if i shove and DO get called by the 30k stacks on my left. but those are the guys who are prepared to call with their good hands and i wasn't prepared to lose 30k with only 90k at that point when 60k was well below final chip average. so i called.

fwiw, I agree with duck, it takes forever to go from 26 to 18. Also, you have to keep in mind that the bubble is going to bust when you're 6 or 7 handed, so you need a much bigger stack to be comfortable.

that call sounds terrible. there really isnt that much of a difference at all between 90k and 105k at that point either.
