Not that I'm against playing videogames at all, but I think you could safely purchase gear for any and every sport you could ever want to play for less than a PS3 costs.

Pretty funny they're doing this...one very large reason I purchased a PS3 (Having a 360 and Wii already) is that I wanted to be able to play the old PS1 and PS2 games that I had missed.

I suspect I'm not entirely alone in the backwards compatibility portion of their system being a large part of the reason I bought one.

I traded in my PS1 when i got a PS2 and did the same thing with my PS2 when i got a PS3, so the feature is key to me.

I agree, corpse, I thought originally, bw compat was a selling point for the PS2, and many people bemoaned not being able to play old 64 games on the cube. So they axed their own idea that helped bring them a ton of revenue.. Sigh..

MrWookie.. You win this round.

(Though, I don't consider anything where you simply move your arm a sport. Billiards, bowling, darts, horse polo (polo?). If you're not working at at least 25% capacity in regards to what you would work to, say, simply stay alive, it's not a sport. To me.)

You've obviously never ridden a horse. Controlling a horse is a workout, especially at game speeds.

Also, the above would seem to suggest that LK doesn't think that baseball is a sport.

No, I have ridden a horse, and I have a friend who did the whole proper riding and such. I know it's a huge work out. The joke was just too fun not to make.

I do consider baseball a sport, there's running involved. Not all the time. But when it's your turn, you sure as heck do some moving. That's like saying I don't consider football a sport because you aren't always on the field (unless you're on offense, defense, AND special teams.. that was a fun year.)

Thank you, though, for essentially proving my point, in that the only example you could come up with involves buying a living creature that's physically larger than a human.
