Well, everyones saying to call so i bet i played it right. Its just too bad DDBeast is a nit, Watts/Superfluous Man/evg would get totally pwned here!

I think it's fine. We establish that OP's range is not a queen or he has a really easy call (because he's getting tricky with TPTK+ on a dry flop v an aggro table captain). And that villain knows this. The question is whether villain assumes that OP will call with a strong second best hand and whether he is any more likely to call a smaller raise than a shove. As I said, hero is well behind or ahead but dodging outs with one card to come. I don't think villain ever shows up drawing to two outs here. And I think there will be times that hero is dead in the water simply because, in terms of calling ranges, if villain is going to cr, he may as well crai.
