In general I think your reasoning looks sound, but I think you are underestimating the amount of times he has a mid diamond and calls a decent bet but checks behind when you check. With a loose guy like this there are a tonne of pair+mid d's in his range by the river aswell as just lone d's. Check raise allin is still a pretty viable line imo, but not particularly clear cut.

he's not bluffing with 2 pr, and will even check behind with a pair here a lot, as well as smaller flushes which he will call a bet with. My reason for betting here is that he will often make a bad call vs us with a weak hand because fish dont like folding, and he will probably raise you with A/Kd......almost certainly with the Ad, and he might even bluff raise you depending on your bet sizing.
