K, well I snap-called - thinking he could be bluffing or
raising the straight. But afterwards I questioned my call. Afterall i've shown a ton of strength by cr-ing big on the river - and he shoves over the top of that. But I guess people don't bat an eye calling 100bbs here w/ the 4th nuts??

OK, how about this spot:
Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $5/$10 Blinds - 2 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

Hero (BB): $1,983.50
SB: $1,139.00

Preflop: Hero is dealt Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
SB raises to $30.00, Hero calls $20.00

Flop: ($60) 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero checks, SB bets $45.00, Hero raises to $195.00, SB calls $150.00

Turn: ($450) 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero bets $375.00, SB raises all-in to $914.00, Hero ??? $540 more to me.

This is a snap call, he plays a lot of Qs like this, not just AA/KK

"Yeaaaa are you putting him squarely on AA/KK??

Just about any Q will play like this. Some 9s. Some mid PPs. Some draws. Some Air.

Instacall and stop running bad."

LOL. K, I guess i'm being results oriented. In hand one he had Q-7dd. and in hand 2 he had A-3o. Good game sir.

Hand 1 your flop line is strange, he bet pot size. As it stands, you really shouldn't be calling pot sized flop bets and then CR'ing the river with the J high flush if you don't intend to get the money in.

if he can do that with the Q high flush, he can do it with the 9 high also.

and yea, results oriented is bad.

The flop on hand 1 is fine. You can't fold either hand w/o a sick read
