I usually just bet bet bet here against a guy like this and expect to get paid off by an A. If you have a read that he floats a lot, checking the turn has some merit to it.

[/ QUOTE ] nope, no read on floating frequency or anything like that but i feel like he either has A or has a PP usually or is going to try to rep a 9. i think if i bet i push him off all those hands except an A and maybe sometimes he decides to raise turn w/ air repping the 9 but usually will fold w/o an A. these were my thoughts as i chk'd the turn. |

Re: Flop quads as PFR...how to get max value now?
imo this is a clear turn bet. you're going to get 3 streets of value from Ax a lot of times (especially if a big card comes and A3 thinks he just got a kicker), and if you bet ~ 60% pot you're going to get called by flush draws too.

i will just say right now, i got sick value out of this hand. like 100% more than i should have pretty much. but i think i may have just gotten lucky that villain was so stupid. i'm actually not sure he even know how to read the board correctly.

bet the [censored] turn, checking turn is terrible
hell, at least if you bet you can get him to try to represent a 9 to move you off AK |
