Default what is the WORST hand you would make this move w?

I'm not sure if this will generate that much discussion, as its more of a theory post or hand-reading exercise. But i'm curious as to what you put villain on this spot - what does his hand look like?

Villain is pokerded. A good reg, capable of making big moves
and mixing it up in 3bet pots. He runs about at 22/18 or something.

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $5/$10 Blinds - 4 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

SB: $1,207.00
BB: $1,087.00
UTG: $865.75
Hero (BTN): $1,010.00

Preflop: Hero is dealt : (4 Players)
UTG folds, Hero raises to $35.00, SB folds, BB raises to $125.00, Hero calls $90.00

Flop: ($255) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
BB checks, Hero bets $140.00, BB raises to $400.00, Hero raises all-in to $885.00,

how are we measuring "worst" here? JJ is a "good" hand but I'd rather have AT or even a tiny flush draw cuz having 10% equity blows

or did you mean the worst hand you think you're ahead of his range with?

I dunno - maybe this is a terrible post. Just based on what you think HE has - what would you push for value in this spot?

Probably an overpair or overcards with the flush draw.

bear in mind the only thing I know about him is what's in your OP, so this is just some assorted thoughts off the top of my head

he probably wouldn't do this with a JT/99 sort of hand - strange lines are generally either big hands or bluffs and usually not middle strength hands

this line seems kinda bad with an AK sort of hand because he's sorta pricing himself into call the push on the end (and expecting you to just call and let him see the turn at that point is pretty silly). so once again, seems like he either has a hand he's happy getting it all in with or something that won't mind folding at all if you push - like small suited connectors or small pocket pairs (and by small I mean that 44/22 are much more likely than 77)

even at this point though, you still have to decide how to weight them... but I guess just pokerstove how well each hand you could have fares against a range of QQ+ and sets and then add some bonus equity to account for the times he has junk and folds

i'm not sure what kind of discussion you are trying to generate. i don't really know anything about villain i doubt he is making a total move here and that he will fold anything he just c/r'd the flop w/. people just don't give that line any credit and look it up so light in general.

oh yeah, flush draws are likely. they want to take a line that tries to make you fold, and they don't really care that they are pot committed because they have reasonable equity usually even when behind

i wouldn't be planning on folding if i check/raised half my stack in with any pair/ any half decent draw.

i really think a much better question is what is the best 1 pair hand he would take this line w/. i mean maybe he does this w/ 89 for some reason but talking about it is kind of zzzzzz. i mean how often is he really showing up w/ the bottom of his range here...unless it's really often it isn't that interesting cause you already know how your hand plays against that range.

Ok, in attempt to make this thread not so vague and generic, I will tell you that I held 9s9h. His line just smelled so GD fishy to me that I though I could push it for value(?). I didn't mention this (though i think its somewhat to be expected) - but i would expect this player to bet out his big pairs on the flop.

Do you think 99 can be pushed profitably in this spot?
