Diplomacy Expanded Invite

Hello fellow 2p2 gamers! For those of you that know what diplomacy is, I have developed a 3-D version of it based on the whole world. We need 46 players to start the game. Many of the rules are similar to traditional diplomacy (but the map is much larger and wraps around). There are also wings, nukes, and voting on the winner. Voting is affected by how many capitals you've captured, which are special provinces around the globe. There's also the typical discussion, alliance, backstabbing, planning and tactics.

It's a medium-long length game that takes about 2 months. Moves are sent in on the weekends. Sort of like a hobby to the side for a while.

I'm sure a bunch of poggers would play. Sounds like a lot of fun (the backstabbing etc.) :P
Do you have any date in mind or are you just collecting players untill you get to the 46?
I assume this is some sort of beta test of your software?

The software I'm using is Google Earth. I have meticulously shaped and labelled all provinces in use using pre-existing Google Earth tools. There is an official Diplomacy forum asking for players that the game is being hosted at but I didn't link it cause I think 2p2 doesn't like that sort of thing? We already have a little under half of the needed players. I just finished the map and posted it for public DL.

After I get 46 players I figure out who everyone will be. Then I send out an email telling the group I'm ready and to respond if you're still interested for confirmation. Once I get full confirmation, I tell everyone who's assigned what nation and the game officially begins!
