Re: Raise block against drooler?
Raising flop seems rly stupid: little FE, scares away SB, we are in position and can easily bloat the pot after we hit. And if we do raise and get called, betting turn is just as bad: little fe, you might be pushed of the best hand. As played foooooold.

What part of he is leading ATC don't you guys understand. Or do you understand it, and I am missing something? Please explain why raising this flop against a guys that is leading everything is bad. I agree that betting the turn was a mistake. |

I think the flop raise is fine with your read

Re: Raise block against drooler?
Flop raise is absolutely standard. I think raise > call, especially if you raise this flop with strong, made hands.

Re: Raise block against drooler?
Im sticking with calling, raising is obv EV+ though but calling is just so perfect here.

No. No need to balance my play against this one.

Re: Raise block against drooler?
i mix up my flop play w/hands like this, but i think a raise is totally fine for a few reasons. we build the pot giving us a better chance of taking his stack when we hit our magic card. also, we get the opportunity to take a free card on the turn. (as you can probably tell, if we're raising the flop, i like checking the turn) basically, who cares if this guy hardly ever folds to our raise...although that's a fine bonus if he does fold and we take down the pot immediately. fold equity is not the only reason for a flop raise.
